Karate classes at the dojo go from 1 hour (children) to 1.5 and 2 hours for adult classes.
Classes commence with a warm up session, then progresses through kihon (basic techniques), kata and sparring.
However, each and every class is a unique experience. One evening the focus might be on controlling breathing, whereas the next night the student might find themselves mastering take-down techniques.
Bring a friend, and make some new ones - beginners are always welcome. Track-pants, T-shirt and a willingness to learn are the only things you need to make a start.
